Many of you have already heard the rumors spreading of The Blue Moon coming to Narrows. What is it? Where is it? Who is opening it?
Well, the Blue Moon Emporium will be a cafe serving soups, salads and sandwiches. It will be a coffee shop with fresh ground and brewed gourmet coffees served with a variety of pies, cakes and muffins. It will be a bookstore with a variety of quality used books. It will be a gift shop with postcards, jewelry and souveniers. It will be an antique boutique with furniture, glassware and collectibles. It will be an art gallery featuring regional artists along with vintage prints and frames. And on occassion, we hope to be a venue for live music.
The Blue Moon Emporium will be located on Monroe St in Narrows, right across the street from the MacArthur Inn. The Blue Moon is another fine entrepreneal enterprise brought to the Town of Narrows by builder Allen R Neely. Assisting Allen in the planning, design and operation of the Blue Moon are Patti Amos of Pearisburg and Diana Fields of Narrows. We look forward to meeting you this summer at our debut.
